Vanessa Cubacub
Mental Health Consultant
My name is Vanessa Cubacub - Registered Psychotherapist and owner of Autumn Counselling and Psychotherapy. With a background in community, mental health and academic spaces, I've had the privilege of connecting with humans during their most vulnerable moments.

I chose to support New Wave Connections because I believe in the healing power of connection - whether with other people, animals, nature, ourselves or the world around us. We are wired for community and this is what this organization is all about - bringing youth together and reminding us that we're not meant to do it alone.

Regina D'cruz
Mental Health Advisor
I'm Regina D'cruz, a Registered Psychotherapist providing virtual sessions through my private practice- Regina D'cruz Psychotherapy. I've been practising as a therapist since 2016 after graduating with a Masters in Psychology. I work with teens and adults up to the age of 40. Previously, I worked as a school counselor in India, provided virtual therapy to adults during covid, and have experience with people with different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. I also support the queer population.
I chose to support New Wave Connections because it is a great initiative- highlighting the importance of togetherness and connection. It is something I wish I could have done in some form back when I was in high school. I believe the youth today have the power to make a big difference in the communities and circles that they are part of. I admire the drive and passion of the New Waves Connections team- creating resources, spreading awareness, and planning events.

I am continually inspired by the New Wave Connections Team through their engaging projects and helpful resources.
